Position Overview
The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production operations. This role involves leading a team, managing resources, and optimizing production workflows to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Lead and supervise production staff, providing training and guidance to optimize performance.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and engineering, to improve manufacturing processes and address any production issues.
- Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and practices within the production environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of metal stamping processes and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with production planning and inventory control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
