Structural Engineer (Building Construction)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the structural integrity of various building projects. This role involves collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure all projects meet safety standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for building projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure structural designs align with project goals.
  • Perform calculations and create reports on structural performance and safety.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly in building construction.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software and design tools.
